Santa Barbara Airport Receives $3.9 Million in Federal Funding

Travelers facing frequent airport flooding and noise issues at the Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA) may finally see relief thanks to funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Congressmember Salud Carbajal visited SBA on Wednesday to announce $3.94 million in federal funds allocated to the airport for improvements. This is part of $30 million going to five airports across the Central Coast region from the historic Bipartisan Infrastructure Law passed in 2021.
